You comment like baseball players, football players, and basketball players live in separate spaces on opposite ends of the country. With a baseball uniform, sure.
Thanks for the info as always. Sounds like maybe the Tri-Star might be involved. They’re going to do a series of teasers for this year’s Smokey Grey, something about elements of all part of the state. They’re supposed to wear them for the opener again, but that was before it was announced as a day game, so maybe later.
Haven’t seen them, my contact at Nike got a promotion and is out of the day-to-day. These were designed by UT in-house instead of by Nike, so hopefully they won’t be bad.
Football is the premiere program at Tennessee. It always has been. This may be a shock to you but I don't care if you agree. It looks tacky on a football uniform. You comment like baseball players, football players, and basketball players live in separate spaces on opposite ends of the country.
A great Vol is a great Vol. All these individuals are different student/athletes just fighting different battles in different places. They all wear the orange. They all share the same teachers. They all are VFLs.
Honoring other sports at other sporting events is something that has been happening as long as sports has been around.
You are in the majority minority in this opinion, and well, as much as I don’t like to use this terminology, your opinion is 100% wrong and misguided.
It would be an honor for the Vols to wear a pinstripe to not only honor the greatest woman/maybe just coach in college basketball history, but also to honor a warrior who fought through a horrible ending that nobody should have to face.
You mean the burnt gray? Smokey gray is almost white. They’re going to do a series of teasers for this year’s Smokey Grey, something about elements of all part of the state. They’re supposed to wear them for the opener again, but that was before it was announced as a day game, so maybe later.

The Grey face mask w/ the helmet looked sharp. Last year’s grey unis looked much better on the field than in the store.OG "Smokey Gray" from adidas

For a lot of us old-timers that saw him play back in the 70’s the “Holloway” jerseys are more nostalgic than anything. To this day, Condredge is still my all time favorite Volunteer.God, I hate the "Holloway" jerseys so much. If they never made an appearance again, it would be too soon. They look like a Temu version of a Div III directional school uniform.
You can disagree, but I really don't care (and think you need to make an optometrist appointment).
Those aren't the Holloway jersey. Not even close.God, I hate the "Holloway" jerseys so much. If they never made an appearance again, it would be too soon. They look like a Temu version of a Div III directional school uniform.

NHL jerseys without sleeves. Horrendous.God, I hate the "Holloway" jerseys so much. If they never made an appearance again, it would be too soon. They look like a Temu version of a Div III directional school uniform.

Referring to them as Holloway jerseys isn't a fact. I agree the grey with orange on the shoulders is hideous. The 70s version was white. So they're not the sameThat's what they're referred to as. The original was hideous, the '04 version was atrocious, and last year's version was horrendous.
Facts.
See above. It's what they're referred to as.
I get it, I do. Condredge was a trailblazer, a phenomenal player, and (by all reports) is an even better man. Doesn't change the fact that those jerseys look like ****, have always looked like ****, and should have been left in the 1970's as some sort of LSD-induced fever dream where they belong.
