You have it backwards. The popularity results in revenue. Nothing you said disproved anything I said. Football is the cash cow at Tennessee because of the popularity of Tennessee Football. Every other sports program at UT survives due to that. Tennessee is and always has been a football school before anything else.

Just look at the Volnation forum home. Football has 7.3 million posts. Recruiting has 4 million and men’s basketball is the next closest at just over a million. Pretty telling.
