Some of those are really cool. I think the checkered stripe on the helmet needs to be bordered.

Take off the checkerboard and this would have potential.

I thought we were supposed to be looking at potential updates to a uniform. How is going back to that gawd awful VOLS logo with the star in the O moving forward? Please no more Davey Crockett logos either.

Didn't DP say that the AD doesn't use those logos anymore? I hope that is the case, they were pitiful then and haven't aged well at all.

I will take the Power T, please. (I admit, I am biased, I started UT in 1997 right when the new T was coming on the scene).

The only logos being used right now are the Power T, Lady Volunteers Power T, and the UTK logo (UT with the Tennessee in it). The VOLS and Davey Crokett and Smokey are all retired. All uniforms will be UT Orange, white, black, or powder blue (aka Summit).

If I had to guess at what Jones would do for an alternate uniform, he’d pick Smokey. Just because they could if they wanted to.

The only way I could see using that logo is some kind of 80s throwback, but then again we didn't have those logos on any uniform then, so it wouldn't make any sense.

Id love to see a smokey halmet with the white and smokey in orange like these bsu

we are doing a throwback uni, likely for aub or usce game. if you piece together info in yhis thread, its probably a model of the 1914 uniform which is dark gray with orange stripes on an undershirt. only speculation about pants and helmet. should be released in the next week, im guessing.
