Forgive us that enjoy seeing orange and white, but are accepting to a uniform that accurately represents history over wearing something that makes us look like we have to resort to gimmicks to get attention. Which is exactly what coming out in all black is for anyone that doesn't have black as their primary colors.

I bet you are against the DJ playing music during games also, huh? Black,pink,gray it doesn't matter. They are all "gimmicks" it's what the players like and i'm all for it. Once or twice a year won't kill you traditionalists. I love orange and white but it wouldn't be a bad idea to mix it up every once in a while... You can relax. The school won't change colors if we come out in black or gray once or twice a year...

What about all those former players that bled for the ORANGE and white? You know, the ones that helped build the program to what it is? The program is bigger than any 80+ players that wear the uniform now. It's the hundreds and hundreds before them. The General would turn over in his grave for some of the crap people have made for uniforms.

What's the point of changing everything this program has been built on just to appease a few 18 year olds who don't give a damn about it? We'll end up with the same deal we had when we hired a coach 5 years ago who didn't give a damn about the program. Why would you want that if you truly love the program?

Exactly, lets come out in our school colors of tan, brown, grey, orange, and white......all black, grey, and even white really are is accent colors.....its not a big deal to use more of them.....people gripe because they say if they turned the.tv on they wouldnt recognize ut at first wearing black....so whats so easily recognizable about that garbage uniform with tan pants? I can guarantee half the teams from that era wore tan pants so theres nothing that really makes them an exclusive to UT

And your taking the desire to change just for the sake of change too seriously. If we hadn't been this bad under the last two coaches, you wouldn't be begging for ridiculous uniforms.

why are you pissing on current players? those kids are out busting their butts to be better football players while having to maintain passing grades in college just to stay eligable. those 18 year olds that dont give a damn about the university, do more for it in 1 week than you will do in your lifetime so how about giving them a little due respect.

I marched four years in the Pride, travelled to every road game but one a year due to it only being a pep band, was at rehearsal at 7a just to prepare to give my all knowing that the team would get stomped, watched them give up time and again, dealt with the crap Kiffin brought in and still supported them until the final whistle blew and STILL played Rocky Top after all those losses. I watched these people that complain about wanting to revamp yet they leave halfway through the 3rd. I don't want to hear it.

You speak as if band was the military or something. Sorry, football > 4 years of band. I'd say these current players have more invested and deserve a change.
