I'm honestly fine with any jersey, one game a year or every couple of years.

I'd even be fine with replacing orange on are uniforms with pink for breast cancer.

It's not a big deal its just for one game, not like its going to be a permeant change.

The T on the chest seems a touch different (maybe I just hadn't noticed) but I mainly posted that because since it looks like the guy is showing templates, it made me wonder if they're starting to loosen up on info surrounding The Mythical Alt.

And by 'loosen up' I mean leaking info on purpose or providing info to those they know that will get it out.

1926, front cover has all orange jersey, but in the black and white photos it is difficult to tell if they are dark orange or black.

Anyways, the only people arguing for black, as I said earlier, are 40 year old men or rednecks who don't realize that trend isn't cool anymore. It's been an interesting shift. Argue for alts for recruits, sure, but at least pull your head out of your ass long enough to be creative.

No offense but where have you heard it isnt cool? If it wasnt it wouldnt be so widely used by college teams in numerous sports. Players seem to love it and thats what matters not any of us we arent the ones wearing the uniforms. If it wasnt cool anymore there wouldnt be so much fan gear shirts, hats, shorts, hoodies, etc covered in black. Dont shoot its just the facts

I've seen a lot of green with orange writing, pink and white, purple, and navy blue fan gear, so let's come out wearing that stuff, too.

The only time I want to see black jerseys is when we happen to play a home game ON Halloween night! That's about a once every 6 year tradition and I don't think it hurts anything. Other than that, I'd prefer to stick with the orange and white. I don't mind experimenting with something like a checkerboard stripe on the helmet, an orange facemask, or something on the pants but I wouldn't want black as a quasi permanent or even annual addition to the uniform.

From the looks of that photo the T is bigger and more on the chest than were the T was on vneck last year. Also the addidas is above the T on it and its in white.

Whatever the Alternate is, and whatever new things appear this year, i'll give them credit,UT has done a great job at keeping this under wraps. not 1 thing has leaked out. by now someone has posted a grainy bigfoot-esque photo of it. im excited for it regardless. BUT MAKE PERFECTLY CLEAR: i want orange and white and that only. but an alternate once a year wont hurt..... as long as it is predominately orange.
