Great story, again thanks for sharing.I'm thinking black shirts. I don't think they wore any orange but I could be wrong. He passed in 1971 when I was only 12 years old.
He was drafted for WWI and was on his way to Europe by ship when the war ended. Returning to the States, he played football at Tusculum College in Greeneville as well as the University of Sewanee and the Vols. Without NCAA guidelines, he played college football quite a while before becoming a cattleman in Greeneville.
Feels like this is the last opportunity this season for white shirts and orange britches. I like the stormtroopers for UGA, that seems to be locked in every season we play down yonder.Kids like the all-white, I'd look for that again. I'd prefer the orange pants.
Players on the leadership council don't like the orange helmets. They still have the ones from 2022, but haven't added new models to them like they have the white, black and gray. I'd be surprised to see them this year.
Hopefully those helmets are in the river with the orange ones.View attachment 682950
Give me these but make the black lines the same thickness as around the numbers on the whole outfit.

They looked great! Pair those with Orange britches. sheeeessshhh. No such thing as "Cursed" You cant blame that on the helmet, that was on that thing they called a defense that night.I don't know how anyone could be asking for the cursed orange helmet. They don't even look that good. It doesn't feel like you are watching Tennessee.
I just don't think they look good for Tennessee, and I just want those helmets to be left in the past. The Grey or Black helmets with the orange power T looks great. The white power T just doesnt feel rightThey looked great! Pair those with Orange britches. sheeeessshhh. 1921 retro uniforms. What's funny is that my grandpa was the biggest man on the team at 250 pounds. Times have changed indeed!
