I don’t like wearing anything other than orange and white against traditional rivals, however, I might make an exception for Kentucky this year. That game comes right after the Alabama game. Tennessee will either be coming off a huge win or deflating loss. Might need something to get a little extra juice for a quick turnaround for an important game against a good Kentucky team.

I agree. Consistency and synchronization looks better on tv to potential recruits.
We are capable of doing several things at once with coordination and good messaging to the public.
If the team wears orange and black, then checker both the stands and the end zones that way. Same thing if the team wears orange and gray.

CBS color announcer: “And if the pre game warmups are any indication, they are just kind of hanging out and look really loose. Seem to be bouncing around. I expect this team to play balls to the wall out there today”.

While i honestly dont care, the Orange jersey, white pants w/double white stripe will always be my favorite look for them.

But just win..and those unis are gonna look amazing

I personally love the Smokey grey as my fav uniform. I wouldn’t mind it for This weekend’s game.

Being an older guy, I'd like to see the orange and whites, to match the checker Neyland. If I understand correctly I believe this coaching staff lets a player led leadership counsel make the uniform decision. Does anyone know if that is accurate? Or how the uniform decision is made?

Would be great if Nike made us some custom jerseys that were a subtle tweak on the classic orange on white. Like some really faint checkerboard pattern blended into the orange. Maybe a WGWTFA on the back side of the helmet and inside of the jersey collar (which could be checkerboard orange and white as a nice accent).

This I hope is a signature and statement win! Wear the big orange to again put our brand right in everyone’s face on the the biggest stage during ESPN game day!!!

saw an ad from TN Athletics selling smokey grey collection unis yesterday and says to prepare for gameday...might be a sign
