I’m about 90% sure that’s one of the fellas he was meeting with at fieldhouse social, last week!!
If I had done my homework(butted in to their conversation ) I could’ve been elevated to insider status!
I would say Chaim Bloom can make it up to me today by drafting Ben Joyce since we desperately need relievers, but we all know he’s going for a draft exclusively of HS infielders.
Really surprised that the switch-pitcher signed to MSU hasn't been picked yet. I guess clubs aren't sure what to do with him and want to see him play in the SEC first.
Don’t be surprised to see the Mets target a guy like Joyce or Ortega.
They have a strong presence in middle Tennessee and I’m sure have been keeping an eye on this Tennessee squad.

Watched (first two rounds) of MLB draft last night. First time to watch a professional draft for any sport. Coach Vitello was prepared and did an excellent job. Thought Harold Reynolds and the other TV personalities (in the first round) were sound.
Watched primarily to see if Tennessee signee Reggie Crawford would be selected in the first round. Made the mistake of trusting mock drafts and their wild guesstaments of Reggie being selected between the 44 and 80 picks. Now disappointed!
Shocked at the number of high school young men selected in the first two rounds. Glad Kumar Rocker was selected third over all. A good story of redemption. Kumar was one of a few grown men ( of course Reggie Crawford is grown) taken in the first round. Disappointed that Blade Tidwell and Jordan Beck were not selected higher. Agree with @Sam I Am that Blade should consider coming back for one more year. He is a first rounder that got lost in the youth movement. Experience brings wisdom. Unfortunately, teams seemed to be drafting for the future and discounting experience.
