Honestly, if he is offered the $150k he should take it. He may get above slot, but not sure. Outside of his offensive metrics, he doesn’t grade out very high in other areas as much as some people think.

I truly hope he gets paid over slot and wish him well.

That does make it a lot more palatable. I know guys 5-10 years ago that didn't make it to their 2nd summer after being drafted primarily because of the living conditions.

Another year of school could make him a lot of money.

It’ll be a lot more than that. But he agreed to whatever number they offered last night. I guess he could always have a last second change of heart or royals could screw him, but 99.9% chance he’s gone
