Urban Meyer Is Steppin' In It

I love how Florida pretends a 5 game winning streak is some over a team with 2 sub 500 seasons is some huge accomplishment. I guess they know the streak isn't going to last much longer.

Translation:
"I hope the streak doesn't last much longer."

In all serious, that is probably one of the worst attempts at humor that I have seen on the forum.

My style ain't for everyone. And they all can't be out of the park. Reread the post. Think you might get it the second time around.

Sure you can.

But unless Brantley blows out a knee in the first two games I expect UF to be favored in Neyland next year.
Your offense would be pitiful without Tebow this year. You lose Tebow and a whole bunch on defense, right? I definitely think Tennnessee can win at home. Obviously Florida will be favored. They will probably be on a very long winning streak if Bama doesn't them.

I meant his "translation" crap. I think what you said was funny, and I'm sorry if you thought I was insulting you.

Hope he's healthy too. I would also expect you guys to be favored. We should be on the way up but all the pieces won't be there in one year.

All this silliness about a guy who has never started a collegiate game and will require an entirely different offense. That's just plain dumb. If the offense is solid next year, a lot of 1st timers will have to kick some serious tail.

In fact, Brantley is so solid and the ret of the team so dominant, Tebow started at about 50% following his concussion rather than Brantley trotting out. Tebow also sucked yet kept playing.

Keep believing Meyer's success is all about Tebow. It's as though Meyer had no coaching success whatsoever before Tim Tebow stepped on UF's campus.

I'll leave it at this...UF's QB situation will be MUCH more solid than UT's next two seasons. I can't understate it any more than that.

Meanwhile you're pinning your hopes on the fact that Kiffin can coach as well as he recruits, because you and I both know his track record as a head coach isn't all that stellar.

Tennessee will be far better defensively next year than Florida will. And Brantley will be making his first start in a rocking Neyland Stadium. Can't imagine that may not turn out well.

I never said Brantley was better than Tebow, only better than Stephens and/or Bray.

It wasn't nearly as bad as you like to think it was. He wasn't in a position to win at any point in Oakland. The talent he and the staff brings in will be coached by NFL level coordinators and coaches, and he will have UT ready to play.
