Urban Meyer Is Steppin' In It

Keep believing Meyer's success is all about Tebow. It's as though Meyer had no coaching success whatsoever before Tim Tebow stepped on UF's campus.

I'll leave it at this...UF's QB situation will be MUCH more solid than UT's next two seasons. I can't understate it any more than that.

Meanwhile you're pinning your hopes on the fact that Kiffin can coach as well as he recruits, because you and I both know his track record as a head coach isn't all that stellar.

Don't kid yourself. You have no idea what your QB situation will be next year. No proven receivers and a guy with no (none, nada, zilch, zero, nary, never ever....) starts and a terrible receiving corps. Room for your skeeter bugs will definitely get scarce. You act as if Meyer is going to flip the offense around easily and quickly. His 2006 offense was anemic at best and that's the only thing you've seen sans a dominant option style QB.

Kiffin did impressive work at Oakland IMO and has done far better here with the disaster that Fulmer left him.

Stephens yes. Bray, well you just don't have any information to base that opinion on.

Forget Bray, he has no earthly idea what Brantley is going to be or if UFs offense can transition. The odds are stacked heavily against them.

I know Brantley is a better QB at this point than Stephens or Bray....just like some of you know Kiffin will completely own Meyer or whoever coaches Florida after Meyer leaves Florida for Notre Dame because he's afraid of Kiffin because Kiffin is the greatest coach ever even though his team is 4-4.

No you don't. You've seen te kid in mop up duty against b teamers and scrub teams. Never with any expectations or pressure. The world changes. Some make it, most don't.

If Bray and Brantley start, both will have the same number of starts under their belt that day and one of the two teams will boast a running game with experienced receivers.

And I'll take a 4th year RS junior over a 1st or 2nd year guy all day every day.

I see you haven't been keeping track of UF's recruiting the past 2-3 years.

You know you're on a rival site right? No, I live here which is punishment enough. So, by you're wise ass crack, I gather you don't know the answer to the question on who your next big man on D will be. Thanks for sharing.

Florida isn't going to be much more if at all more talented than they have been the past few years. Tennessee will be far better. Urban Meyer build Florida up while Tennessee was way down and Saban was just getting started. To think Florida is going to dominate Tennessee or Alabama in the future is too optimistic.

Cool. We'll give you Crompton, who had everyone here pumped up after a fill in game against LSU, and we'll start Bray. Good luck.

I know, it just won't mean anything to you that's all.

UF has recruited very well defensively.

I never mentioned Bama. They're gonna be a beast for as long as Saban stays. I have nothing but respect for them.

To think Tennessee will be mentioned in the same breath as LSU, Bama and Florida is also optimistic.

Dream on. Tenneessee, as well as Bama and UF, are going to be miles in front of LSU. LSU is going down fast, because they are coached by Coker 2.0. Tennessee will bring in plenty of talent, and the coaches will do very well with it.
