John Brantley, Tebow's backup, is a lot similar to Chris Leak. He won the National Championship in 2006, and he struggled a lot. The defense and special teams unit carried him throughout the season, I don't think you can count out Brantley doing what Leak did.

Realistically, I don't think Brantley is the perfect mesh in this system, but he knows what he's doing. After all, he's gotten significant playing time and has played a solid role, has no competition to worry about... the job is his.

By the way, we have Jordan Reed coming this year I suspect, and Trey Burton in 2010.

So, we're good.

He broke Tebow's record for career passing touchdowns in High School.

I question his decision making. Obviously he's gotten his fair share of snaps behind a Heisman trophy winner, but it comes down to how he manages a football game.

So far, I haven't had time to evaluate that, mainly because he hasn't played over a quarter, and if he has it's been against someone not worth wasting time in. (i.e. The Citadel)

Glad to see PH made the wise decision.

Now, we're down to only one more year of Tebow!

I hope he makes a great speech again next year to fire up the Gators during his senior season. And, I hope he needs to do that after the UT game.
