Urban still stressed out

Urban most definitely failed Tebow as a coach? IMO, but why such a good QB not getting a shot in the pro's? I think some development should have been in order for Tim, but Urbie wanted to run it every which a way he could....I just think he could have prepared Tim a little better, that's ALL?

it was pretty obvious thompson just meant real QB as in you dont have to worry about him running it all the time

meyer is such a jerk. he should be mad at the player who said it and not the guy who quoted it.

No wonder why his team has had so many arrests since he took over...a reporter quotes a player word for word and Meyer has the audacity to threaten him.

Granted, Meyer and Fowler have bad blood form some of the previous things that Fowler has done but that is no excuse for threatening the man in a physical manner and also threatening to basically take away his career.

Way out of line and came of as a pretentious bully...imagine what it will be like IF they struggle? Look out!

Are y'all out of your minds? The reporter correctly quoted the kid. CUM was completely out of line, threatening the reporter. I would be outraged if that guy represented my university and challenged a reporter to a fight while on campus

Seems like the reporter did intentionally use that quote out of context and it made Deonte look bad. I can't really fault Urban for this one.

You must not have seen the video of Thompson then, he quoted him word for word.

Meyer was in the wrong, no doubt.

He threatened the guy for doing his job.

He quoted him word for word...Meyer should have to apologize.

Which doesn't mean squat as far as whether it was in context or not. he also said Tebow as a living legend, and phenomenal quarterback right after that quote. Funny how that didn't make it in, and totally changes the interpretation.

I'm confused, are you agreeing or disagreeing?

Did anyone catch Jim Rome burning CUM up? Funny as hell.

Everyone has grilled him over it and rightfully so.

If that would have been Dooley/Pearl/Summitt I would feel the same about it.

You don't threaten people with physical harm or try to out him as a reporter by essentially trying to be the editor of all local media.

The media always looks after it's own.

I get what you're saying, but I have a hard time faulting a reporter for directly quoting a guy. He wasn't leading in any way and I think it was pretty obvious that all the player meant Brantley was more of a conventional QB than Tebow.

Exactly.

Part of this is due to the fact that CUM and his staff are highly sensitive to the fact that Tebow has had to totally change his mechanics to get drafted as an NFL QB.
