US may have killed Quds Force Commander Qasem Soleimani

It seems we do deserve some blame. We know for a fact (since we have decades of history to back this) that our actions in the ME result in blowback and unintended consequences. I tell you guys this until I'm blue in the face. Nobody should be surprised by this result and it doesn't happen if we don't take out Qasem. You can't just say he was a bad guy so you gotta take him out. You gotta weigh all the expected costs and benefits. Trump doesn't give a **** about that, he just wants a scalp.

Obviously the solution then is to eradicate the inhabitants and simply reuse the land if removing a bad apple inflames the rest of them. Imagine life without OPEC and jihads ... not perfect - we still have fleas (libs) but so much closer to paradise.

WE CAN'T AFFORD THIS

Never heard of this guy.....but Boo Hoo I guess.

Just read up on him , it’s a very interesting history . His family been in power for 14 generations , he dethroned his father to take over in the 70s , has no heirs . The way they decide a new king is also very unique with a family committee and two envelopes . Apparently it’s a big deal because he was considered a moderate and a mediator for several ME countries with the US and between each other .

That's 2-0 if anyone's keeping score.

Terrible post.

The world is ridden of one less terrorist, without any American lives being lost. It's a shame that airliner was shot down, it really is, but you can't seriously blame the US/Trump for Iran's utter stupidity.

Also, far more lives (Americans) would've been lost had Soleimani been allowed to continue his reign of terror.

Bingo, average length of stay for knee, uncomplicated 2 to 3 days. It's required to be in every doctors note.
Seems to be a pretty routine procedure. A guy I do business with just had one; he runs an engineering group in a big gas company and has to stay home for 3 weeks recovering. He’s able to hobble around now but not driving yet.

How many times did they investigate Benghazi to determine it wasn't because of a video?

I think anyone with a brain knew as soon as Susan Rice went on TV it was terrorists and not some peaceful protest gone awry. 2 Differences in Benghazi and Iran. Different President and no one died in Iran because one Presidents response was swift and with purpose. The other president and his people said help was too far away to get help there in time. 4 brave Americans died in Benghazi. Capitulation is never an option. Ronald Reagan told "Mr Gorbachev tear down this wall!" The wall was torn down. Is also worth mentioning the hostages who were held 444 days in Iran thanks to Soleimani were released the day President Reagan was inaugurated.

Ethically and morally - probably not. However, considering the current costs involved with "peacekeeping" in that part of the word, it might just be a financial bargain. Especially if we said damn the scruples and played OPEC on steroids.

No. It wouldn't be. I hope you are joking
