I would prefer terrorist targets be isolated to the point there is no innocent ever taken. How would you eliminate a terrorist who camps with his family in the middle of a city?

Whelp Iran owned up to shooting down the plane even with their weak ass deflection back at us for their military’s sole actions!

However one thing is clear. No US citizens died in this horrific incident. If Canada or Ukraine want to retaliate that’s up to them. But it isn’t our job to play police force here. The 87 Iranian families I’m guessing are just SOL.

The incompetence and negligence here is pretty staggering. They didn’t ground flights which should have been a no brainer. Radar just so happens to suddenly pick up a target 300 miles inside your airspace that’s near the airport AND gaining altitude? What cruise missile would appear and then climb? My guess is the army was operating under the assumption that commercial flights were grounded and they didn’t take the time to ID the target like they should have.

I think you missed the point of my post, the post I was replying to was reporting a theory as truth. I responded with an equally plausible theory in the absence of any intelligence or proof.

Trump is currently claiming Iran was targeting 4 embassies. Those who attended the intelligence briefings after Soleimani's death said that was NOT said to them. He's simply lying, as he always does. We use terror as a tactic. Like our actual government does, not underground American organizations. We are complicit because they use our tax dollars to do it. Some people want to fix things, and don't care about trying to figure out whose good and whose bad.
