US may have killed Quds Force Commander Qasem Soleimani

Not a lib but we have been at war for almost 20 years. It’s way past time to get out of the sand box.

Everything Trump is facing is because of malpractice of past Presidents it was known all these things would come to a head. It's like the Social Security debate. At some point somebody is going to pay the pieper.

I don’t disagree. Now how many countries are we going to be engaged with militarily before we are grossly over extended?

What he thinks the problem with China is (trade deficit) is straightforward.

How he's "fixing" it isn't. Tariffs one week--will they be higher or lower next week? Stay tuned!

It's not that complicated. Whether you agree with it or not it's just a negotiating tactic

Hopefully no more and we can get out of Afghanistan. I think that might be why common ground is trying to be found with the Taliban. I'm not sure that is a good idea but we need stabilized governments that are not enemies to America. That might be making some concessions it can be supported in the home country. I don't claim to know. We know it's clear getting rid of several leaders over there now appears to be a bad idea.

I don't think so. It's reported he was hit with a drone.
I was about to say, someone mentioned a post earlier about his bag still on the turnstile at the airport and what's left of him fiitting in it.

After that attack I'm not sure you could fill a Dixie cup with what is left.

And see... it is stuff like this that prevents the left from getting people in the center to jump on board with them. It's like that news story I saw shortly after Trump's election called "Stop making me defend Trump".
They don't want them to jump on board, they hate the center, the left stumbles all over themselves to see who can go furthest left until the real campaigning at the national level goes into full swing. Then they tone the language down so they don't offend the more moderate liberals.

To a lesser extent the conservatives do this as well but they have moved slightly more to the center over the last decade.

At least that's the way it seems to me being center right libertarian.

This seems more like a strike to prevent a coordination/planning of events to come. It seems like they had a window and they took the head of the snake. There are consequences to every action but what many aren't considering is there are also consequences to inaction.

Clinton and OBL comes to mind.
