The idea that it was a “defensive action” to preemptively assassinate the second most powerful individual in Iran is simply laughable. I don’t believe there was an imminent attack for one second.

This is what the geographically illiterate don’t understand. Iran’s military is clearly superior to that of Iraq, but Iran is a large country that sits on a plateau filled with rough terrain and mountains. What is the end goal exactly?

If it just the United States vs. Iran, the US would level everything in sight. Iran’s technology and resources are old. However, if everyone and their brother gets dragged in, it could be a different story.

I don't trust this administration for a second either. But I don't know enough about this to thoughtfully comment. I was going to do some reading on it, but I got distracted by the Vols comeback win.
