US may have killed Quds Force Commander Qasem Soleimani

He doesn't have any balls. He's quite possibly the biggest puss to ever hold the office. No one has ever behaved as insecurely as him. His thin skin is already reached legendary status.

You do realize the irony of you calling him a puss in the thread where we are talking about him killing the second most important guy to Iran and their escapades right ? Lol

Yeah, but Trump has been stewing on it, especially lately, and it just passed the House, lurching its way to the Senate. Its the beginning of the year.

Good time to fidget spin Fox and his developmentally disabled base.
So it sitting in the house 2.5 years is fair game to base imminence?

Sounds like Trump took out a bad guy who was an active threat then.

He was in charge of Quds force. Those are the Iranians who go out and have combat operations outside of Iran, who is a state sponsor of terror.

Its like some of you are trying your best to not be able to connect the dots because MUH TRUMP ORANGE MAN BAD! Whats it like to hate America so much you'd side with the people who literally just threatened to kill you?

He suddenly became the head of Quds forces in the last week?

Who knew?

No, there's no irony. His insecure and thin skinned behavior is clearly all over the record, both print and video. That's says more about his character than him giving a go order on a routine bombing

So it’s routine now . You guys are starting to confuse me in the spin cycle . Are we supposed to be mad that it wasn’t routine and we should be outraged over it , or are we just supposed to be mad because it’s Trump giving the ok for a routine bomb run because he has thin skin ? LOL

I get it, being the leader of Quds is not recent or imminent.

But that doesn't negate the possibility of you being that dumb.

His point appeared to be that neither impeachment nor Soleimani as a long term threat were exactly new concepts.

I concede both points, because neihter explains the need to suddenly do this now. I do not for one second believe that its because he's been in hiding and we lucked out and found him, so had to act immediately. Why?

Because if that were the case Trump and his folks would have said so. No, that is not what they said. They EXPLICITLY said that this action was SPECIFICALLY because Soleimani was planning a major and imminent attack.

Their words, not mine. And their words more than a few times.

Maybe so. I still do not rule out the possibility that such is the case. Let's hear from those briefed in the next day or so as to whether that is a real explanation, or a conjured one.

We need to go all Benghazi to find out. The Department of Defense said the attack on the Embassy was directed by Soleimani. Lets see the emails.

They had to have intelligence where he was going to be and have the assets available. It can take months to years to even have the opportunity. You take it when you have it.

Absolutely, and it was a twofer. Got rid of a terrorist and fired a warning shot that a rogue nation couldn't miss. It's great getting that much mileage out of a single weapon.

Glass half full, glass half empty. All depends on your predisposition.

You could look at what just happened to the US Embassy and the company he was keeping at the time he blew up. Or you could believe that Trump wanted a "distraction" and believe the Iraqi/Iranian Shia PM that Soleimani was an emissary on a peace mission.

You could look at the walls of the US Embassy:

“Closed in the name of the people,” read graffiti sprayed on the embassy wall.

“Soleimani is my leader,” others wrote, in reference to the Iranian general Qassem Soleimani, commander of the elite Quds Force of the IRGC.

Is it unreasonable to think that their retaliation, whatever it is, should come within the next few days? They've had their mourning period.

Did anyone read this?

Apparently things between the US and Iran have been cool since they released the hostages then the bad orange man backed out of the nuke deal

Why don’t the U.S. and Iran get along?
The U.S. and Iran have a difficult relationship. It’s been this way for many years. In 1979, Iran took 52 American diplomats and citizens hostage. They were released after 444 days.

In 2018, tensions increased again after President Trump said the U.S. would no longer participate in a 2015 deal with Iran. This international agreement set strict limits for 15 years on Iran’s ability to create nuclear weapons. In return, the U.S. and countries in the European Union agreed to end trade restrictions. When Trump pulled out of the agreement, the U.S. put trade restrictions back in place. This has hurt Iran’s economy.

39 years of peaceful; uneventful coexistence then BOOM, Trump had to go and pull out of the nuke deal.

My real regret is that we weren't using something more substantial on the "demonstrators" outside the embassy. Napalm would have been just the ticket.

The US starts the clock in 1979. Iran starts it in 1953.

Really? How many times did Obama go onto twitter and personally insult someone who was critical of him or disagreed with him? Not a big Obama fan here, but at least he carried himself with class and dignity and didn't respond with personal insults at those who were in disagreement. Trump's a weak minded puss

Nothing you said about Obama would disqualify him as a puss. Whether it was whispering sweet nothings in Medvedev's ear, a beer summit, world apology tour, not taking action against Iran, etc. He is the biggest puss ever.

I read it all. It's one big pile of 🐕💩.

I like this one better.

Obama's Iran deal has just granted an amnesty to the world's leading terrorist mastermind
