It's being reported that the Pentagon will lower the number of SEAL deaths from 22 to 17. 15 were apart of the elite DEVGRU while the other two were apart of a regular SEAL team.

I understand your reasoning. It is sound and prudent. However, it's a bit too much for me to take that they harbored OBL. Nothing will convince me that govt officials in Pakistan didn't know. Plus, if it can be proven that they are funding militants with any of our aide, all bets are off. Shift the aide to India, tell them they have our blessing to go reclaim their land in the name of Shiva.

Don't forget that both Pakistan and India are still nuclear powers. And don't underestimate China's desire to see that conflict continue. I just don't see that one ending well at all.

Pakistan's "cooperation" with us is as fake as Joan Rivers' face. I also agree that at least certain officials knew that OBL was in country, and perhaps some even knew exactly where. Inexcusable for an ally..but we don't even have that relationship anymore. We are basically in a place where we neither trust each other, but we each have something to gain from the other. We will continue using each other until one deems it no longer worth it.
