USA Today Poll finds 58% of Republicans believe Capitol Riot was organized by Antifa

Or the fact that they actually called in the national guard and fortified the building. Staying true to the facts has never been this lot’s strong suit.
What exactly has the national guard been required to do since deployment other than provide political theater? Keep selling your dumbass narrative.

I dont care if yall decide to call it a coup or not. But it's kind of funny that he ignores the fact that the guy who gets to declare martial law is the same guy that stood the most to benefit from the storming of the Capitol by a bunch of morons who had been convinced they could overturn the election results.
I’m not sure that a large percentage thought it would change anything. Seems more like frustrated people trying to be heard. Either way it was ignorant at best.

I've said before I think there was a mixed bag of motives. Some just wanted to make noise outside the Capitol and got swept up with some of the real lunatics.

You think they should have stayed in the chambers and kept voting while Shamananon and his buddies were at the door with Capitol police drawn down on them?
Why didn’t they declare martial law immediately upon reconvening? I mean ... they almost killed AOC?! ... right?🙄

This is true. There was a contemporaneous, mostly-peaceful protest and a peaceful rally outside. They’re easily distinguishable by virtue of not being on film assaulting police and breaking through windows.

Some of the folks who went inside may have been peaceful, too. It’s harder to tell and probably not worth trying to draw a distinction, just like it wasn’t worth distinguishing the folks who went into the burglarized Target to loot and vandalize vs the ones who just went in to look around.

How was it a coup? And how is Trump in anyway responsible for it?

Your second paragraph is beyond silly. You think people don’t know what Target sells?? So if they see a Target with busted windows and doors, they are just gonna go in and look around and do nothing?? Come on. That’s BS and you know it. It’s a false equivalency.

I thought the problem was already handled?!
I should have been more clear. The problem of people in the building posing a potential danger to congress had been handled. This is a guess the potential of another threat to congress. But it seems they're taking care of it without having to declare martial law.

I asked this earlier. What has the guard actually done while they have been there? Name one thing. They are a prop in a political theater play.
