Real talk... if they fought for the Constitution, then instead of Baghdad, Beijing or Moscow, they would have been fighting in Washington DC... especially after 2020.

As one of the few black Americans on the board, I've only recognized one national anthem in my lifetime and that's the Star Spangled Banner. This other national anthem is for the Woke, race baiters and as satisfaction for white guilt. It's not legit throughout the culture, and like Juneteenth many Iived a lifetime and never celebrated it until 2020.

I'm with you, but at the same time, this is the least of my concerns right now with this country... or black Americans.

Without the "national anthem" connotations, does it bother you that it was played at the game? I realize some refer to it as a "national anthem," but I never saw it referred to as such.

Yup! I am becoming more convinced every day that the most horrible people in this world are leftists that are upper middle class/wealthy white people. Pretty much every bad idea comes from this idiotic class of people.

It was pregame and if some tighty righty hadn't been outraged I wouldn't have even known what the song was. Only one person seemed to know the words anyways.

I was more interested in the fact that Dak finally made it to the super bowl

It's not actually a "national anthem." It's a misnomer based on a nickname (not the actual title) that is causing many brains to explode. If you read the lyrics, you would have no reason to believe this song is for/by one group and that's not supposed to be how it's received here.

IDK why we have to have any songs at the football game. It's literally the dumbest **** ever, but to the government, the point of spectator sports is "sportswashing," and so this is tradition. Rather than 0 songs, we gotta have 2 or 3.

BTW, they've always sung America the Beautiful at the SB. Not sure if they did it this year or got rid of it and replaced it with the BNA, but either way the patriotic song count has always been out of control.
