No I wasn't watching. But they use different colored jerseys on the flight deck to denote different jobs. The guys that load bombs have one color, the fire fighters have another, fuelers another and so on... I never did boats so I don't know what those colors were, but that could have been what you saw unless it was some kind of woked up nonsense for the game.

This is true. Binary pregame anthems are oppressive and archaic. Let’s start the SB at 7am and make sure we play songs until all the people groups are represented for the sake of diversity and inclusion.

Then and only then can we kick the ball off in peace!

I never took a loan, sir. I think it was before your time here, but I paid my way through what was needed after scholarships by flipping fixer uppers in the East Knoxville area.

Until the business loan, I've generally been debt free my whole life.

Try to understand that it's not actually a "national anthem."

It doesn't impact you in any way unless you go to the game and get to your seat before kickoff, and then for those 3 minutes, let the righteous indignation flow through your veins! If you're complaining about this because it was on your TV for the SB, you're just a Karen. Mute it. How lame is your party if people are just sitting there watching the pre-game songs? It's background noise unless somebody's (Whitney Houston) absolutely killing it. I didn't even know they sang America the Beautiful (so 3 "national anthems!").

This. No matter how many times POC want to say this is their national anthem, its not THE national anthem and it never will be.

They just want something for themselves since their ancestors sold their ancestors for copper pots and seashells and took their cultural identity away from them and I for one am fine with that. If folks want to stay in a perpetual loop of victimization and despair and unable to focus on how to become as successful as everyone else (as they have been passed by every other racial group) who are we to judge them?

The comments in here are laughable. In todays society, you can’t have your own opinion and express it. Especially if it’s something that you care about and it goes against what’s trending for lack of a better term.

Some didn’t like the black national anthem. Some loved it. Both views are acceptable.
