USAID may be the biggest scandal in American History.

Biggest thing with this is the fact they blatantly ignored Trump's instructions to shut down any aid.

There's an old saying about the tallest tree in the forest...

Furthermore, there's an old saying about "shoot one, train a thousand."

Could be they made themselves the tallest tree and are getting the proverbial "shot" as an example that DOGE isn't messing around. It'll give the others a chance to "clean up" or at least attempt to do so before they bribe the tallest tree.

Maybe target both?
Yes if the allegations are true it needs to be cleaned up and its processes made more transparent, although maybe some of the lack of transparency is there to cover its use for three letter agency activity. And those on the outside profiting from corruption inside it need to be held accountable.
USAID is a useful platform for some good things. It would be a shame to throw the baby out with the bathwater.

Hey. $32k for transgender comics in Peru is a solid investment!!!

Well. Come to find out USAID is essentially just exporting America’s worst practices to the rest of the world. Transgender this. DEI that.

From an imperial perspective, it’s a great strategy. We can literally ruin a country’s entire culture without firing a single shot. We just have to poison the minds of their youth.

I know some people are thick. But imagine not grasping the gravity of what has been found. Millions globally died. Many people that you know. Many are still disabled by either LTC or the MRNA shot. When they say, "make sure you're on the right side of history." This would be one of those relevant moments. No pardon will protect these people.

Representative Gerry Connolly (D-VA) said on CNN’s “OutFront” that Congress created the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), therefore President Donald Trump could not shut it down or make significant changes.

Found the problem....it's poop again.

i've always said the Chinese were wasting a lot of money building a military. All they have to do is be patient and let the left destroy the US from the inside then the Chi-coms can have a non-violent takeover of this country.

Whether it trains them or teaches them to be better at hiding their fraud and waste is yet to be seen.

I agree with much of this. The problem is that our government is bloated, we spend like petulant children with a trust fund and a black card. The agencies use this to carry out projects around the world that benefit them and the MIC. It's a slush fund for terrorism and seeding conflict around the world most likely. I'm sure they do some good but that's just window dressing for it's true intent.

Kill all of them while we have the chance, because when the left is back in power, they will grow and grow and grow.....

Its true intent isn't all that nefarious though, and shutting it won't stop the three letter people from doing their thing by other means. Shutting the whole thing down would be misguided and shortsighted.

I'd shut it down for the short term while bumpers were applied to prohibit abuse or nefarious activity and to ensure oversight is allowed and applied diligently.

You have to make sure the right people are involved and the wrong agencies don't have influence. That's the tricky part.

Regardless they must respond and cooperate with oversight. They can't be allowed to cowboy it anymore.
