I think Teddie managed to out sleaze the Daily Caller with that tweet.Teddie is quoting the Daily Caller now? He really doesn't care at all about credibility.
The Daily Caller article he linked didn't say anything about USAID or reveal any secrets. Daily Caller put out a standard hit piece hoping it would get conflated with USAID & DOGE.USAID secretly poured uncountable hundreds of millions of dollars toward Hamas
I've been obsessively playing master of orion III for weeks. if you know that game then you understand the depth of my various existential crises atm.Gamergate was a lot of gamers pushing back on the woke culture making its way to video games and other various forms of nerd culture. "They" were making nerd culture way more PC, which could have been acceptable but it was a pretty blatant and apparent push that didn't produce quality products. Like if the PC content was good/fun/enjoyable it would have been fine. Instead a lot of things were "ruined".
A lot of preexisting characters had their gender specific traits cut back. Tomb Raider losing her triangle tits, and various fighters losing their muscles.
Violence got cut down, and becoming very unrealistic/unsatisfying
no bad guy was ever LGTBQ+, and most of the good characters became LGTBQ+. It became a trope of when you were early in a game/movie/comic/story/whatever and hadn't figured who the bad guy was yet, it was the straight guy. On its own, not a real issue, it was just done in such a boring, predictable way.
It hit everything from triple AAA games, to various indie efforts, to existing franchises with decades of history. None of the existing stuff was sacred, and that ticked off the core support for most of these things.
besides the content itself, there was a big push for inclusion amongst the staff of various nerd culture related items, and they became untouchable because they were "different". IIRC one of the big sparks was this one reviewer who wrote for several of the big game reviewers was giving obviously biases reviews, just down right bad, wrong, and people wondered if this person even made it past the start menu with how inaccurate the reviews were. Good or bad reviews were just as wrong. so there was a push to out her based on the quality of her work, but there was woke push back because she fit one of the categories.
besides the reviews its when a lot of game developers started going to "public betas" where they release a game early and let the public "play test", which was really just replacing their QA/QC. but it was because a ton of the QA/QC time was spent focusing on whatever woke agenda was present in the game. Another trope was "well the game is buggy as hades, nothing works like it should, half the visual assets don't load, but I know the preferred pronouns of my ingame non-sentient pet, and the transgender cosmetics look great!".
and as others have pointed out, don't go to 4chan unless you want to lose whatever little faith you have in humanity. even if you think you have none, don't go there. at best its trolls trolling other trolls with questionable content and messages.
What I notice is a narrative trying to deflect attention from wasteful / inappropriate spending of our tax dollars. Every hundred, thousand, million dollars spent should be spent wisely or not spent at all - makes no difference what percentage it is of the total budget. JMODid you notice how much those that think we give too much think we give? And how much we really do?
lmaoFood, health, energy, and education around the globe to those less fortunate. What monsters.

In a 20g half sine shock profile a 10 lb piece now weighs 200 lbs. And the analysis is used to show the structural integrity of the item and the fasteners holding it to the airframe won’t yield under that load. That is an example of a basic analysis.
That analysis matters in an item that is in the cabin with the crew. It doesn’t matter on some add on piece of test equipment used for ground support or alignment that isn’t flight equipment. Granted the ground equipment has their own special hell they go thru. For example the Army cross country shipping stress test.
We all agree that the test regime needs to align with the use. The onus is on the contracting authority to set those requirements. That means they need to know what the hell they are doing. Contractors will point out all the time that specified environments don’t always line up with the use case for some piece of equipment. But that doesn’t mean they will prevail in that discussion. And that discussion doesn’t happen until after you’ve won the contract based on the initial specified environments.
Like I said the system is designed to produce the exact equipment they are getting… whether it makes sense or not.
Ah sorry. I was in my nerd mode and didn’t receive correctly. The joke aside, and I’m sure you’ve seen this in some of the aircraft you’ve been around over the years, the field of structural dynamics has given us some very light yet incredibly strong aircraft. Then of course we put armor all over them and turn them into portly pigs. Like the 3/8” steel plate kits in the floors of several of the H-60 variants for example. That is payload or gas that is skimmed right off the top. The armor is of course needed, but on the H-60’s I’ve been around it seems to be removable/tailor able to the mission at hand.Look nerd, I was making a joke.
I don't see any deflection. There was a mention that a large percentage of the population thinks we give too much foreign aid. I notd that the article cited said also that people vastly overestimate how much we give. There's nothing about corruption or whether some of all of the aid is appropriate. What I notice is a narrative trying to deflect attention from wasteful / inappropriate spending of our tax dollars. Every hundred, thousand, million dollars spent should be spent wisely or not spent at all - makes no difference what percentage it is of the total budget. JMO
I don't see it above a few ten thousands. That's a few drops in the bucket in that market. What would make a difference is a big cut in MIC expenditures.Don’t know the 1st thing about DC or Northern VA real estate market but I do know what happens when hundreds of thousands of highly compensated low skill pencil pushing lazy and incompetent employees get terminated.
Why is that our burden when we don't even take care of our own citizens?Food, health, energy, and education around the globe to those less fortunate. What monsters.
