He's a punk and finally USC got wise to his schtick. Perhaps Northern Idaho could use a ball boy next year?

Why would USC consider Franklin? As HC he has only beaten one or two teams with an above .500 record and currently has a rape cover up scandal hanging over his head. Only way they go after him is if everyone else turns them down.... Again.

Someone on the team said they pulled him off the bus, kicked him in the bawlls, gave him a lollypop and made him walk home.

That's why I kind of snickered at those taking the high road. The guy's not gonna be out on street. Amd he will get another job if he wants by next season. It may be as a coordinator though.

They might have trouble getting someone to take the job.

Their recruiting class for this year is already bad and will only get worse as players decommit (one already has).

Recruiting's not an exact science; a lot of these guys don't pan out to what they're ranked in recruiting (heck, we've seen it here too)

Also, I'm not sure it exactly works the way you're saying factoring in things like inexperience

We already knew that Kiffin was on thin ice, but to be fired in the airport parking lot is just cold. The worst part is that they decided to fire him in-game and then went on to pull him from the team bus in front of his players.


"According to Scott Wolf of the Los Angeles Daily News, Kiffin did not return on the team bus after being pulled from the vehicle and fired right in the parking lot."

He'll hook up quickly in college or the pros as an offensive coordinator. Not sure he is head coach material but he can run an offense well. He did at USC under Carroll.

Not a win for him. Money was never going to be an issue for him.

His desire was to be a successful head coach. His dreams just took a humongous hit. He isn't laughing.

Poor ole Kiff! Left us to go to a team that needed no rebuilding. A team that contended each year for the title. Big city lights and the job of his dreams. Bolted to the air port to hit the road from Knoxville only to be fired at an airport a few years later. Karma is awesome!
Great day indeed! Next is coach O. When they clean house later this year it will be another great day!
