Yeah, sorry my posts were rather confusing.

My train of thought:
1. Buckhead is from Florida.
2. Tom Smith is from Florida, too.
3. There are rumors Tyron Smith wants to transfer to UM or UT.
4. Tom Smith is a UT commit.
5. Someone heard that Tom Smith was visiting Knoxville this weekend for an unofficial or something like that.
6. The above rumor then gets twisted into "Tyron Smith is visiting Knoxville" because someone mistakes the two since they have similar names and there are rumors swirling about Tyron.
7. Buckhead hears the rumor that Tyron Smith is visiting Knoxville.
8. Buckhead reports that Tyron Smith is visiting Knoxville and combines this with the rumor that Tyron is considering us and Miami.

Now, what is more logical?

A: No one knows if/when Tyron is visiting UT since this has all been secretive and no one in Florida knows, and the rumor that Tyron is visiting is simply a rumor founded upon a mistake like the above logical sequence, OR

B: Someone in Florida actually has the connections to know that Tyron is visiting Knoxville this weekend despite the extreme secretive nature of these visits thus far.

I'm really HOPING that Buckhead's source is right and that Tyron IS really visiting this weekend. However, since no one has collaborated this rumor with more firm evidence, it makes me skeptical.

I wish BuckheadVol would read this and then explain further what he has heard, who he heard it from, etc. so we'd have a better grasp if this rumor is legitimate or simply a case of the corruption of a truth over time into a false rumor.

I'm simply trying to find out if a particular rumor actually has more support than "Buckhead heard he was visiting this weekend".

Okay, before this thread totally derails into oblivion, let's get back on topic.

IF it is true that Tyron is visiting UT this weekend, I think he's ours. Seantrel will, most likely, be choosing Miami, which should really help us land Tyron. The very fact that he is visiting at all should tell you that he's looking to get out of USC (if, indeed, the rumors are true, of which I am skeptical).

If he does visit this weekend, I love our chances. But dont get your hopes up of learning if he does infact visit. It is obvious that these kids dont want it known they are looking around until after they are leaving. We just need Sentreal to make a quick decision. Him going to Miami helps us out. Anyways, point is that dont expect Brent or anyone to learn if Smith or anyone is here visiting.

If Tyron visits UT i think its a done deal. Seantrel is pretty much locked on Miami because his dad wants him in a prep school. But im not getting my hopes up for either really.

Agree. More than likely we won't know anything about it until he announces he is transferring and where he is going. I think it will be completely hush hush until then.

I was hoping to wake up to the news of Seantrel Henderson and Tyron Smith on campus and practicing with the first team on the hill.

i wouldnt say its over for the buckeyes but i would be shock if he goes anywhere else but miami..randy was trying to make room for both tyron and seantrel but i really dont see that happening..myjammy and ten-a-keys steal o-linemen from kiffin

Do you know this for sure? If so, this means Tyron is definitely looking to get out of USC. We are all speculating he might transfer for whatever reason, but I haven't actually seen where he is going to for sure.

No problem. There is obviously a lot of speculation for a reason. I'm just trying to figure out why a guy that started the entire season last year would want to leave. He did get suspended from the bowl for academics. Maybe he did not get a good feeling coming out of spring he would be the starter this year. Kiffin did replace our 3 year starter at center with a walk-on. McNeil had bad knees, but please. Kiffin had Sullins pushing McNeil for the starting job from day one. Maybe Tyron just don't like Kiffin. That would not be surprising.

yea im not even sure why he would leave..but i read somewhere in volnation that kiffin gave his spot to seantrel??...i wouldnt be happy about that..
