Live in Buckhead and currently in FL, so....
I hear that T. Smith will be in K-Town to visit this weekend (Friday). With that said, can someone local paint the rock?
We sure could use him and he is down to us or Miami!
Let's help and get him here!
Here is what I was talking about.Live in Buckhead and currently in FL, so....
I hear that T. Smith will be in K-Town to visit this weekend (Friday). With that said, can someone local paint the rock?

Does anyone know if there is any truth to this?
Not really sure I recall a whole lot of instances that support this. As I remember, the previous staff encouraged recruits to take all of their visits, even if they committed to UT after their first visit. This differs from guys like Saban and Meyer, who tend to get irritated when commits go on officials to other schools.
It's got to be Tyron, because Miami hasn't offer Tom Smith.
I'm confused as to what you mean.
A guy from Florida said he heard that a T.Smith would be visiting Knoxville this weekend.
Since he is from Florida and it's unlikely some guy from Florida (no offense to BuckHeadVol) would know about any top-secret visits of a USC player to UT, I
speculated that he must have heard that "Tom Smith," our current RB commit, was visiting and NOT some info on Tyron Smith, and he was simply mistaken or misheard.
I don't understand how Miami not offering Tom Smith has anything to do with what I asked.

I thought the post said that it was down to either us or Miami? Because that gives you your answer.
Wait, what? I think we're having a strange miscommunication here. I never mentioned Miami.
My question was really: how reliable is the information that Tyron Smith is visiting UT? Especially since the UT staff has been so tight-lipped about it. How would a person in Florida know that Tyron was visiting Knoxville this weekend? Wouldn't it make more sense to think that maybe the person heard "Tom Smith" would be in Knoxville and that was mistaken for "Tyron Smith"?
I'm just trying to verify that Tyron Smith is actually rumored to vist and it's not a case of someone hearing a similar name and getting excited and confused.

You don't think promising USC recruits that they wouldn't be sanctioned just to get them to sign a LOI would qualify for this? Even if he didn't think they would you cannot promise that it will not happen if you do not know for sure. He baited these guys into signing a LOI because he thought they would be stuck there even if sh*t hit the fan.
Still not what I meant. I knew Buckhead was referring to Tyron, my concern was the veracity of his source. Why hasn't anyone else heard about it?
