USC OT Tyron Smith

Can UT foot the bill for these guys to visit or is it up to the players to foot their own bill?

if not, those fools trying to raise money for that non-lulzworthy billboard in LA should revert their efforts towards flying the entire junior and senior classes of the USC football team to Knoxville.

I would direct the billboard message to recruiting those players and promoting the university instead of bashing Kiffin. I would support your idea as well but I'm pretty sure that is illegal.

+1 that is the most ridiculous, childish thing I have ever heard of.

billboard:

12/30/10 Music City Bowl > 9/2/10 USC v Hawaii.

think about it....

Kiffin convinces people like a used car salesman. Dooley convinces people like a lawyer. A used car salesman wants a quick decision and will deal with the fallout later. A lawyer wants to convince someone to the point they believe it and won't easily change their minds.

Brilliant. :hi:

Little upset I didn't come up with that!

Not really sure I recall a whole lot of instances that support this. As I remember, the previous staff encouraged recruits to take all of their visits, even if they committed to UT after their first visit. This differs from guys like Saban and Meyer, who tend to get irritated when commits go on officials to other schools.

Assuming that USC's Summer workout schedule is similar to UT's, I suspect there won't be any more West Coast guests until the weekend when a player can slip out of L.A. and have a discrete visit.
