This would be mighty helpful. And I would love it. One is OK, two is great, 3+ would be Christmas in July.

Really hope Jackson is big enough to play DT, and hope Brown qualifies, and the DL situation may be ok after all.

i know everybody is really excited, and i dont wanna bring anyone down, but just how likely is it that this kid transfers? and how does miami's oline depth look? and is Henderson for sure getting cleared to transfer? and if he is, why cant all the other freshmen transfer as well? sorry for all the questions, but i feel they are all very important.

Mustain has publicly said he's staying at USC and will finish his college career there. He's not transferring to UT or any other school for that matter. Nice to think about but not going to happen. Further he gets a better degree from USC, I mean even UT alums realize we, as well as most of the SEC, are not nationally renown for our academic programs. (Vandy and maybe UF being the exceptions) From what I hear from family with USC ties and what I read, Mustain is focused on his degree as his top priority at this point. I know folks bleed football in the south - but for many, even scholarship athletes at UT, athletics is a means to an end.

I believe Henderson can transfer because there is "enough evidence" out there that Kiffin promised him there would be no major penatlies for USC from the investigation. If USC didn't grant him the release he could appeal it because he was basically promised there wouldn't be any penalties and that is a reason why he signed his LOI. I think the problem with the other freshmen is this evidence doesn't exist for them like it does with Henderson.

IMHO I would say that Smith transfers. I have no idea what Miami's depth chart looks like but if they get Henderson t'll def. look a lot better than ours (it probably does already)

It does, but you also have to realize that Kiffin and Co really didn't believe they were going to get the hammer dropped on them like they did. Think about it though even most of Volnation didn't think it would happen.. We all hoped it would but for a while there we thought they would get off easy and so did everyone else.. I honestly don't see any way that Henderson stays at USC I think if USC doesn't grant him a release it'll look awful on their part and even if they don't grant it to him he can appeal to the NCAA and with everything that happened they would most likely let him leave.

Worst case scenario for Henderson is he sits out a year and transfers anyway. I just don't see him being a Trojan in the end.

adding a solid pash rushin DE with 2 years left was great...

adding a HUGE OT with 2 years left that can play right away would be AWESOME!!!

how much truth do you guys think there is behind this????

Why does everyone keep saying Henderson and this guy are goin to miami? Did Henderson come down to USC and Miami when he signed with USC? If so I could understand that, but why Smith? I'm looking at the Miami's O-line and it's as follows:

OT : 74 Orlando Franklin | 6-7, 318, Sr., 4V

OG : 61 Joel Figueroa | 6-5, 330, Sr., 4V

C : 63 Tyler Horn | 6-4, 300, Jr., 3V

OG : 72 B. Washington | 6-4, 330, So., RS

OT : 78 Jermaine Johnson | 6-6, 310, Fr., RS

I can see Henderson going to take the freshman OT's spot but I can't see Smith going also....

1. Henderson should not be released. He knew what he was getting into when he signed just a few months ago.

2. Tyron Smith is a great prospect but I have heard from everyone that he's headed to Miami and nowhere else.

Kiffin probably promised Smith's position to an incoming freshman (Henderson maybe).
If that is the case I hope the kid lets everyone know it.

Just out of curiosity who is everyone?

We're going to a bowl, no problem.:)
How many wins will determine which one.
If we keep getting some more of the USC transfer studs that will only help us.:clapping:
GO VOLS!

Good question Judo...When you are working in IT in Ohio you know all the important people in college football. It enables you to say with certainty that people on here who say we are getting a visit from a USC player and hopefully a transfer that they are an idiot.
