Yeah I don't see why he would want to go to Miami especially if Henderson goes there. I mean he should take one look at our depth chart and sign on the dotted line that instant. If he would be penciled in as the immediate starter here.

Oh and great news about Malik willing to recruit for us.

Honestly, I don't see Ed staying past this year. He has already been on the phones gauging interest.

I hope we get this guy. The fact that EO was calling our own players, on a UT issued cell phone while LK was informing his players, asking the EE's not to go to class still grates on me as the worst of the worst. Not getting any of ours, and getting 1, 2 or 3 from them is just a perfect ending to the saga. Just sweet on top of sweet. Plus, filling an immediate major need if he comes here.

A large percentage of the fans here have an inferiority complex.

If I am a recruit choosing between Miami and UT who is not from S Florida, I have to believe I'd choose UT. Miami's facilities are still second tier and support isn't close to UT. I honestly can't think of a single "football" reason to choose Miami over UT or a number of other programs.

Did this guy gain interest in UT after the other USC player decided to transfer? If so we could be in just as good of shape as Miami.

I'm pretty sure I heard or read that most of the USC players transferring out would like to play together. I don't know how close Jackson and Smith are, but it can only help us.

Wouldn't that just be classic? CLK leaves a mess in his wake as he pursues "HIS" dream job... and then loses guys he needs to keep that dream job to the school he jilted.



PS- I honestly don't want Mustain. I know he's a more skilled QB than Simms but the guy has been a drama queen from word go. NO ONE came out of that Nutt/Malzahn/Mustain & mom deal in Arkansas without a nasty stench on them.

IMHO, the only think Mustain would accomplish at UT is create internal contention.

Hopefully Dooley shows him that he is our starting LT the day he comes here.

But you have to think with this kid, starting isn't really his main concern since he is already doing that at SC...maybe he just wants to go somewhere he can win and compete for a title, and Miami is sadly much closer to that than we are currently.

Apparently all it took for UT to become USCeast was Kiffin leaving, who knew?

Live in Buckhead and currently in FL, so....
I hear that T. Smith will be in K-Town to visit this weekend (Friday). With that said, can someone local paint the rock?

We sure could use him and he is down to us or Miami!

Let's help and get him here!

100% agree...

I would flip if we got Smith and maybe one other OL or DT...

I know that's asking alot but if it happened I believe we'd go from a 5-6 win team to a solid 7 win team...and we'd be setup pretty well for 2011

i have to agree with you.

this somewhat makes me wish we had gotten Marve last year. he would have to be an improvement to our current situation.
