USC OT Tyron Smith

1. Henderson should not be released. He knew what he was getting into when he signed just a few months ago.

2. Tyron Smith is a great prospect but I have heard from everyone that he's headed to Miami and nowhere else.

I agree with 1 completely. He just needed to stand strong and avoid the pressure from Kiff & co to bolster the USC press release on signing day. Instead, he is now stuck. Kiff can hold it over his head legally. "We can't afford to let you go. Now do you want to lose a year of eligibility somewhere else or come here and win a championship in your senior year? Hell, I'll redshirt you and it'll be the same thing but with four years here instead of somewhere crappy like Columbus OH. Have you been there? Puh-leese. By the way, I have a pair of blond hostesses coming to meet you in 20 minutes. And a brunette for you, Dad. Do they have those in Columbus? I think not."

Regarding 2: If Henderson does in fact head to Miami, would you go there with him if you were Tyron Smith? And if you were Miami, which would you prefer especially since you already have a Sr. on one side and an incoming Fr on the other. (and I know the real answer is BOTH, but for conversational purposes you can only take one)?

Wouldn't that just be classic? CLK leaves a mess in his wake as he pursues "HIS" dream job... and then loses guys he needs to keep that dream job to the school he jilted.

PS- I honestly don't want Mustain. I know he's a more skilled QB than Simms but the guy has been a drama queen from word go. NO ONE came out of that Nutt/Malzahn/Mustain & mom deal in Arkansas without a nasty stench on them.

IMHO, the only think Mustain would accomplish at UT is create internal contention
.

Does it matter? Simms has done nothing in D-1, and Bray is barely at 200lbs. Mustain has experience (and success) in the SEC. He's more skilled than Simms by a mile, and maybe Bray. You got to take Mustain if he wants to come. What can hurt?

A large percentage of the fans here have an inferiority complex.

If I am a recruit choosing between Miami and UT who is not from S Florida, I have to believe I'd choose UT. Miami's facilities are still second tier and support isn't close to UT. I honestly can't think of a single "football" reason to choose Miami over UT or a number of other programs.

Well, I think one could perceive Miami as having more of an opportunity for success this coming year at the moment. And the non-football reasons might be enticing to someone who is already used to the non-football reasons to go to USC.

That being said, I agree that Tennessee is very competitive, and in some key ways superior to Miami when considering it from a transfer's point of view.

I've been to Columbus many times and yeah, it is not somewhere I would want to spend 4 years of my college life. Personally I think OSU's campus is awful. It looks very "concrete-ish" to me and it's basically surrounded on all sides by horrible neighborhoods. It kind of sums up most of the state of Ohio actually.

I'm not sure if Miami would take both. I think they are having 85 scholarship issues already as is. I'm sure they would take Henderson over anyone though, although both are probably future NFL'ers.

Not sure if this has been posted, to lazy to read through 10 pages, but FYI...

USC OL Tyone Smith has a relationship with UT OL coach Heistand via family!

Read it on rivals.

This would be great and hurt USC a little bit more than Jackson, although I'm loving that we got him for our DL depth.

I cant find the ****ing link but I swear I read it on Rivals today, about **** when I saw it.
