Now being, "life-long" USC fans, LK is guaranteed to have some extra time to spend with both Crompton and his Dad during the next two bowl seasons.

So, not all is bad, at least to everyone.

No, I've read that the Nat'l Champ would remain vacated, with no winner for that season being named.

Imagine how surreal it would be to see USC remove that BCS trophy from its case in order to either return it to Sears, or placing it in a closet somewhere.

At least its not conspicuously placed, or anything. You'd hardly notice it was missing, actually.

Even better if they sent a repo man in there to get it. I am sure there are plenty of UCLA, TN, Auburn, etc fans that would gladly provide that service pro bono

Once the '04 season is stripped....

The last outright title that USC has won? 1978.

(Shared in 2003 with LSU, although USC wasn't selected to play in the BCS title game).

NCAA won't award it to anyone.

Cause really, as much as we like Auburn more, you can't fairly (the keyword here) declare - between a team that would have played like Auburn or the other team that actually played like oklahoma - that one of those two teams should receive it over the other one

NCAA won't award it, but the BCS has essentially said they'll revote it if any of the more serious allegations prove true.

Since USC's 2004 (at least) season will be vacated, I wonder if LK will put videos of UT's2004 season in thier trophy room?

At the end of today, all that really matters (to me) is that Monte's kid and all who believe/support him suffer. Worthless human beings that take advantage of society and offer nothing should be suppressed and not rewarded.

*P.S. I do believe that most top schools commit similar violations and similar punishments are a heartbeat away from most major athletic powers.
