Unknowns: Keeten ACL rehab, last year's starting ACL RB rehab, JUCOs...I heard reference to about 8 or more in the presentation.

Knowns: We gonna whip dey azz!

I predict pulling away in late 3rd quarter, win by 11-17. But USU won't quit and will fight til the end.

This is going to be a dangerously close game until kickoff then the Vols roll. This game is going to make us all wonder why we HAD to have the SEC Network to start the season.

Oh, by the way, the beat down from this loss will be so bad that Utah State will keep its season openers relegated to PAC 12 teams from here on out just to keep its psyche in check.

We've felt OK opening up against the SEC. I think it will stay that way. Speaking of the PAC-12, I don't recall your last trip to PAC-12 country being a good one so I'm not sure where you're going with that.

If you're referring to the Oregon game that loss was clearly on the refs.

I hope Vols fans will all realize there is a very real possibility we could lose this game. This is not NC State or WKU. Keeton, if he has recovered well, is already on the Heisman watch list. They have some NFL projected talent on both sides of the ball. They statistically, including against Auburn, Wisconsin, and USC are great and lowering a teams running yards average. What they lack in star power they tend to make up for in consitency and solidarity. Do not underestimate this squad.

That being said, I still think we will win this game, I just want other posters on here to objectively think this through. Our WRs are going to be all around bigger and faster (hopefully) than their secondary. Players with the size of North and Croom can simply take the ball from smaller secondary players. Our O and D lines should actually be stronger than last year which I think will show. IF we can get a good running game going it will make this game A LOT easier for our players. If not, Worley and our WRs wil need to be on point. This should be a good game. I predict Vols by 7-10.

No team since ball st in 1948 has replaced both lines after one season. That impact is going to be huge. With all the freshman that will prob start and play I look for this team to struggle often and early. I'm In the wait and see if the lines can pick it up quick and play camp. I would not be at all surprised to see us with one win going into UF game

From the games I have watch he is pretty good. Definitely not an area of weakness for USU. Have you heard anything on the status of the WRs that have been in trouble lately?

You act as if we are trotting out a bunch of Freshmen on both lines to start. The OL may not have started together, but they have been in the system two years together. They are maulers and will be fine. If you are honest with yourself, you will admit that both lines were very underwhelming last year. Some of the OL could not really get to the second level when blocking. They were decent in pass protection. The DL was horrendous. There was no outside containment from one of the DE's, there was no push up the middle to collapse the pocket. We will get better play this year from both IMO.

VolNation has seen what young WR's has effect on your game, it will be vary difficult for them in a 104,455 screaming crowd. I just don't see CK being full speed in our game, we have seen JH, CM and others take more than a year to be 100% mentally.

Matt Wells (HC) last week at MW media days said that they're waiting on the legal proceedings and handling the discipline considering all factors. What does that mean? I have no idea. Natson was arrested in February and still played the spring game. Butler may end up getting charges dropped. I'm told his blood level was right at .08. Who knows. I hope whatever happens is in the best interest of both young men.
