Ahem, at least Pearl was given a raise due to his market value being high. Fulmer was not (which, along with not deserving one, was the major beef with it)

That may be the case, but the fact remains that he simply didn't deserve another raise.

I am fine with keeping him, but I am extremely pleased that Memphis wanted him and couldn't get him. That should help if we recruit against them.

True, but comparing it to Fulmer's was a little off. At least Pearl had someone after him. Fulmer hadn't had anyone after him since like 00-01ish
