Actually the funniest part of his arguments is how he pretends that all these people support what he says...

Say what you want about Donvan. And Hat, I see more logic in this than most. But I'm pretty sure even with the last two seasons a lot of great teams would willingly hire him.

Okay, so we have a big arena, upgraded facilities, and we're paying a coach a lot of money. We've still never been past the Sweet 16. Discount the insane Kentucky fans who think they should win the national title every single year for a moment - UK expects to win because, generally speaking, they always have. UT, not so much.

I see what your saying but lets think about this. Aside from being the winningest team in college basketball in wins and win percentage, the 7 national championships and the 43 conference championships....

On top of that they have some of if not the best basketball facilities in the country. I agree we should never stop raising our expectations but greatness is not built overnight. Bruce very well may have reached his potential as UTs coach, but I see no reason to throw him out on the street after one bad season. He has been nothing but great for us.

There is a point where all of that history just amounts to nothing. See: Fulmer, Phil - The Final decade.

Nobody is advocating throwing the man in the street after one bad season. That doesn't change that our expectations should be as high as anyone's in the country. Any less, we're right back on the road to Wade Houston land.

I think it's just funny that the same people who discount Pearl as scum, praise BCG as if he's done something.

But do you really think Pearl should go? I mean to put things in perspective dean smith won 2 NCs 35 years. It took him like 20 to win his first. I know the times have changed but he is one of the most famous coaches of all time.
