UT gets warning to protect Jews

Some of you have heard this story but a few years back there were some young granolas at the Walmart on signal mountain road protesting Israel. I walked out on my way back to the truck and walked by without stopping. One of the little ****ers decided I looked like a redneck contractor who would obviously agree with his ********. He followed me nearly all the way to my truck. I park at the top of the parking lot so I can take extra space with my bigass truck. He never stopped talking the whole way out. I finally said “what does any of this have to do with Chattanooga Tn.” Granola boy said “you have to boycott the Jews here so they will send a message to the Jews in Israel “. I said “really?” And he said “you never know where they are , you have to find them where they’re hiding “ so I stopped walking and stepped into his personal space and said “like the Jew standing in front of you” he looked back at his group and I said “oh no, you’ve wandered too far away from safety….what’s going to happen to you now”. He quickly walked away back towards the group and I said “hey, you’ve forgotten your flyer” to which he flipped me off without looking back.
The dumbasses protesting here are just that. Dumbasses.

..... and there is no small degree of irony coming from a President who just pardoned people who had committed crimes while protesting the 2020 Presidential Election - including those who can be seen on video committing assaults. Some of whom were even wearing attire which covered their faces.

I Never quite understood the logic behind people being disturbed by PICTURES of abortions while being fine with the ACT of abortion.

In Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones (Indy) learned to keep his eyes shut when the Ark was opened because the Imam, who translated the headpiece inscription, warned him not to touch the Ark or look at it when it opened, a detail that is not explicitly mentioned in the movie, but found in a deleted scene

I think it should be legal to beat the hell out of people that protest in the streets and block people’s ability to move about.

Nothing makes people give even less of a s*** about your “cause” than slowing them down from getting to where they need to go.

Don't know. I'm offering possibilities, which is more than some have done.

ETA: I will say that I've seen the chants where they poured blood everywhere and chanted "We don't want two states. We want all of it." which is clearly a genocidal chant, as well as a clear alignment with Hamas. Similarly, I've recently seen a video from the UK where a police officer threatened to arrest a Jew near a Palestinian protest because his presence may agitate them to violence, which supports the context of reasonable belief of violence toward Jews at some of these protests.





So, I've seen other news reports of the protests terrorizing Jews on campus. I think it was you that claimed the reports have been debunked. I don't trust the fact-check sites, as I've seen them lie and misrepresent facts all too often. We end up at a needless impasse, as again, I was using a theoretical example to make a point about 'harassment' as an exception to free speech protection.
