There are some antisemites on here who will miss 20 and 30 win seasons when our next coach can't fill Bruce's shoes.

If you could read, you would notice that this was in response to the assertion that Bruce is running a "VERY CLEAN" program. I think that's obviously not true.

And we catch so much hell, just for giving a kid a few free pairs of Nike's and taking their SAT for them.

Nobody was doing drugs, or ridin' durty strapped with gats with infrared beams.

I agree completely!!!!!!!!! Most UT fans are horrible. Coach Pearl IS UT basketball. Our "fans" get on here and thrash him, and then when he leaves, they will say he had no heart for the university. How about our fans getting behind their teams when they are having a rough stretch instead of kicking them down farther. The other side of the fence isn't always greener. This sickens me to think this way, but when Pearl leaves, I hope we have about 10 straight losing seasons. It's what 80% of our fan base deserves.

I think that some people are too critical of the players, but every fanbase has these people...I understand the idea of this thread, but I think there is some over-reaction here.

What does the fans expect from this team...every team seems to be losing games...the main winning teams are the ones with the players planning to leave for the NBA next year...I think Pearl is doing an incredible job with the talent on his roster...look at the powerhouse North Carolina and even schools like Duke seem to be struggling alot this year...most of these schools are built off atheletes that plan to stay for over a year...I salute and thank players like Chism thats remained at their colleges long enough to learn something...:salute:

Geez people, Bruce Pearl is far from the best coach in the country. After watching the past 2 years I am surprised more people haven't turned their back on Pearl. Yea he has had a little success at the beginning of his time here, but these past 2 years have been hard to watch. I for one, am hoping that Bruce moves on to his "dream job" after this year.

that arguement doesnt make any sense here because the players would be the citizens and if you hate all the citizens in a country, maybe you should move.....

From my OP I keep forgeting Devoe did 5 in row NCAA tourneys. The point is most on here go from us being a final 4 contender after a win to we suck and wont make the tournament after a loss. Enjoy the season and lets evalute where we are then. GO VOLS beat the Cats then we will be Final 4 bound again.
