Problem is that you are not being realistic.. To say that we blew out chance and choked because we lost to Alabama in the SECT is so dumb especially since tons of analysts said we solidified our spot with the win over mizzou... I'm not saying that we are a lock or anything, but to think we don't have a shot at getting in, however low the possibility is, is absolutely ignorant

The magic of the NCAA tourney happens when a "bubble" team finds something, gets it together, and makes a run for the ages, ala North Carolina State 30 years ago, and VCU just a few years ago. THAT'S WHY WE WANT OUR TEAM IN THE DANCE, pal.

Only 1 team from every conference doesn't end their season with a loss.

It would have been better if we beat Bama but we still ended the season on a 9-2 run...the team improved and had a bad night at the wrong time.

I still think we get in.:hi:

Yea i see no way we wouldn't be in a play in game, but I don't care I'll take it.

Can't remember, do they name the play ins first, or address that as they name each region.

I know they show all the 1 seeds first and I wanna say they just wait till the region to announce the play in games.

Yet another case where your opinion is just wrong. We very much so have a chance of making the tourney, if you don't understand that I can't help you.

You are the only person I see causing dissention among the fans. We might not make the tourney, but if that is so we are only missing by the slimmest of margins.

I think at this point I agree with that...committee changes every year what they put more weight on. If they had a set criteria it'd be much easier to predict, but they can honestly make a case for either team.

On twitter on GVX it was tweeted that no team with fewer than 3 Top 100 wins has ever made the tourney. Might seal MTSUs fate.

I expected something to happen in one of the games yesterday that would take us out of the conversation, but it didn't. Teams like USM, Bama, and UMass all lost.

Perhaps if Ole Miss is drilled today, they'll look at how they beat Missouri when the ball was thrown right to them and then avoided playing UK in front of BBN. Their weekend won't look as shiny if today's game is destruction.

at least the last four spots, IMO. MTSU dominated a bunch of not-so-good teams but was unable to win its tourney--which again shows how conference do nothing but screw deserving ncaa teams. UT, meanwhile, played 500 ball against a much tougher schedule.
