Ut's (re) commitment list under kiffin

Thanks for the list but there are players there that have not been a confirmation if they are committed or not under the new realm. Askew, Shackelford, Revis and Thorton for examples. This is the Kiffin list I update as I get word of new commits or Fulmer commits that are re-commiting under the new coach. This list will include previous commits (2007 or '08) that could not make it due to academics.

Wow, you act as if we don't update this place. Do you have any idea how crazy it was before and after Kiffin got hired to keep things updated. It's easier now since he has toured the recruits. It's your thread though, have fun. BTW, all the guys you mentioned have been confirmed.

A few commits were dropping like flies. Also, there was a good possibility that Kiffin would not keep all of Fulmer's recruits thus warranting a seperate list. As I said in the beginning of this thread, this list will be totally different from Fulmer's in the very end. May have to denote FC (Fulmer commit).

I don't see Rivals having like 2-3 different lists. My list is from Rivals and the only one that is different is Aubrey Phillips and he said he is firm to UT.

He is still taking visits so he will be dubbed as a "soft". There is uncertainty with Askew but all indications he will be a confirmed commit; contact by Kiffin yet?

Be aware that those colleges who canned their coaches and are hiring new ones will have a different list in the very end because that new coach will want to recruit his own players and decide if he wants to keep the previous coach's commitments.

Askew is solid and has been contacted by Kiffin from what I have read.

I do read the other threads to get hints of status.

Do you have by any chance the list before Fulmer got the axe? It would be good for retention purposes.

What lists are you talking about?? Have you not seen that most of the recruits we had before Fulmer got canned have stayed aboard?? Having Fulmer's list or Kiffin's doesn't matter, the only thing that matters is LOI's on NSD.

Of course it is over 50%.

Of course it is over 50%.

We have 15 commits right now, 16 if you count Phillips and I do. We lost Allen, Boyd, Petty, Giles, Foster, and Swearinger I believe. So based on that, we are at 71% retention. Some of those left before Kiffin was ever hired because they were impatient. Also, we don't know what will happen until NSD anyways. Making 90 different lists doesn't matter.

That's true. Anyone who signs with UT is Kiffin's recruit now. He will have either purged them from the original list or added them. They're his and I'm certain they all understand and embrace that.

And don't forget the past recruits that could not make it due to academics;so they should count towards this class.

BREAKING DOWN THE LOSSES

Before Fulmer quit: Allen and Nunes

After Fulmer quit: Foster, Swearinger and Giles

Deemed "unfit" per Kiffin: Boyd and Petty

Over the past few weeks since the Fulmer canning and the Kiffin hiring, there has been decommits and waverings going own behind the scenes. There also has been "not committed" (Boyd) by the new coach as well. As Kiff goes down to the "old" list and talks to each and every one of them to see if they fit the program, an answer would emerge to see if they are still committed or not. For now, each that have committed have turned into "soft verbals" according to Rivals until some sort of confirmation of interest is made.

At the same time, Kiffin is going after players that would have not committed under Fulmer.

NEWEST ONES OR CONFIRMS WILL BE IN BOLD.

THE (RE)COMMITTED LIST SO FAR:

David Oku (FC)
Toney Williams (FC)
Monteri Hughes (2008 commit)(FC)
JerQauri Schofield (FC)
Je'Ron Stokes (FC)
Damian Thigpen(FC)
Jonathan Hollins(FC)
Zach Rogers(FC)
ERIC GORDON
Marlon Walls (2008 commit)(FC)
DJ Hunter (FC)
Jerod Askew (FC)
Aubry Phillips (FC)

ON HIS PERSONAL LIST TO (RE) RECRUIT
Marlon Brown
Marsalis Teague*
Dominique Allen*
Aaron Murray*
Ashlon Jeffery*
Matt Barkley*
Ruben Randle
Olson Charles
Morgan Moses
Quienton Washington

* Already committed elsewhere
FC- Fulmer commit.
NOTE: Kiffin recruit in capital letters.

Let's keep track of this as the 2009 Class maybe far more different than the Fulmer list. It may have less players like what happened with USC last season.
Any Palomalus on this list, Berry needs special friend??

Due to the wavering. Je'Ron Stokes has been moved from the COMMITMENT LIST to the PERSONAL LIST.
