It does suck, but we will be fine. Appreciate the info you bring when you can.Think he’s with the good guys.
Wanted to say it sucks that FM didn’t pick us, and the figure that was thrown out isn’t accurate but it’s somewhat close. We made a great offer with other intangibles, he just didn’t pick us.
After this week:

For whatever reason Ethan Davis is populating as zero. Using his 247 Composite rating of .9588, we'll assign him 25pts (in between Herring's 26.58 and Seldon's 24.52).
Grand total: 250.76, good for 4th nationally barring other teams action this week.

Updated scouting report on elite athlete Cameron Seldon
- There was a reason schools were willing to trek to an area of Virginia not known for producing Division I prospects, let alone Top247 players.
And that reason was Cameron Seldon, a superb three-sport athlete at Heathsville (Va.) Northumberland who is readying to announce his college decision. He has Tennessee, Penn State and Maryland as his finalists.
The No. 3 athlete and No. 24 player in 247Sports’ rankings will announce his choice Thursday at 4:30 p.m. live on CBSSports HQ.
The following is his updated scouting report following his junior season in football and a state championship performance on the track:
Strong build with size to be receiver or linebacker. Size is not verified through measurements but in-person evaluation meshes with listed 6-foot-2, 220 pounds. Has strength throughout frame.
Has multi-sport profile as basketball player and Class 1A state champ in 100 meters. Holds school record of 10.74 seconds. Dominant high school player at small school on Virginia's northern neck.
Explosive in open field with high-level speed to finish plays in open field. Takes snaps at running back, quarterback and receiver on offense. Smooth athlete with ability to churn out YAC. Good ball skills. Gets off line of scrimmage well and quickly gets into route. Comfortable playing in traffic.
Has speed to get behind defensive. Demonstrates ability to close on ball in the air. Willing to be physical at the top of routes and in challenging for 50-50 balls. Change of direction, burst and short-area quickness show best when playing edge or blitzing as linebacker. Impacts game in each phase. Step up in competition will be enormous after playing at smallest classification in Virginia.
Has to continue to develop ball-tracking skills and show he can elevate and high-point balls in close quarters. Has limited varsity experience because of covid-related issues with school's schedule. Played four games as a sophomore and five games as a junior.
Elite level prospect with build to play early in college at Top 15 program. Potential to be early-round NFL draft selection.
Because of circumstances outside of Seldon, his sophomore and junior seasons were truncated. He played four games in the spring of 2021, his sophomore season, because of covid. His junior season, which was in the fall, was limited to five games.
School is way out of the way and he is not into the social media stuff. Also, a quiet kid who did not hit the camp circuit.
Sounds very “about his business,” which is usually a GREAT sign. From what we’ve heard about Cam, sounds like he could be a unanimous top 10 type player if he was more active on social and in camps. Even with his high ranking, this kid is gonna be the steal of the class and could turn into one of the best offensive weapons in the SEC, imo.Siap - shockingly didn't see this posted yet. Updated 247 eval and note for the "why doesn't he have more major offers" people
Is there a reason he doesn’t seem to have the offers from the “elite” programs?
@Plove23 there are more than enough bikini GIF! Do something orange for ALL the Vol fans to enjoy!!! (December, quit trying to corrupt our new VOL!)Just boom with the rest of us. I try to find a nice bikini GIFs to accompany my boom. Sometimes the mods remove them. Sometimes they don't.
We’ll be here celebrating or doing what we do here when it doesn’t go our way. Whatever the school (hope it’s us of course) Cam chooses, I hope he balls out to get to the next level. He certainly has handled his recruitment well. Whatever the choice, come back. Let us know how the young man is doing or just to be here. You are always welcome here. (oh, you just a fist bump from a girl).Perfect! That's what I'll do
