Roman Harrison played DT in high school.Roman Harrison, Joshua Josephs type
Roman Harrison played DT in high school.
Some of his best highlights are against the pass and he lines up all over the field, including at the safety spot. I see a JRM type linebacker. I don't think they will try to bulk him up and turn him into a rush specialist with what he brings to defending the pass.
They should. With players like him they may be able to one day overtake James Madison, Old Dominion, and Liberty as the best team in the state of Virginia.
True, but he played NT out of necessity. Obviously not the position he was built forRoman Harrison played DT in high school.

If someone takes one of our backups and turns them into a heisman favorite, I'm not hating the school that took him...i'm thanking them for shedding light on how bad the coaches are.VT has to really hate UT.
- Stomped them in Battle of Bristol
- Took Hooker and Hyatt from them
- Got Seldon last year and Peyton Lewis this season so far...
That's program changing moves right there

Tennessee up next for Cole
But the four schools from June’s official visits aren’t alone in Cole’s decision. He plans to see Tennessee at the end of July. He visited Knoxville for a spring practice earlier this year and is excited to get back.
“The first time I went down there, I really enjoyed the coaching and just the atmosphere there,” Cole said. “It was a great vibe when I went there. And then after these past three weeks, they’ve turned it up all the way. I’ve been staying in contact with them mostly on the daily, really.”
Cole plans to take his visit on July 28 after the recruiting dead period ends.
“I’d say it would be super important to me,” Cole said about visiting Tennessee again. “I just wanted to go back. I still really liked Tennessee when I went down there the first time. I really enjoyed myself. So before I commit, I was just like, can I get back down there and just talk to the coaches more?”

-VQAnother linebacker who Tennessee is pushing for is Salem, Va. linebacker Chris Cole. He is coming to town in a couple of weeks with Tennessee being his last visit before he likely makes an August decision. Tennessee has a better shot than we had thought after talking to people close to his recruitment. He obviously has Peyton Lewis pushing the Vols which is big, but the visit will be the needle mover, good or bad in our opinion.
“I have a great relationship with all the coaches,” Cole told Volquest of why he wanted to return to Knoxville for another look at Tennessee. “I talk to Coach Heupel all the time. Then daily, I talk to Coach BJ, and we have a great relationship. When I went down there, I had a great time. I got to watch a practice, and I loved the way the coaches coached on detail, so I want to get back down there to learn more about Tennessee football.”
Cole who holds a 6-2.5, 210-pound frame, knows that Tennessee wants to use him as a WILL linebacker in their scheme. He has built a solid relationship with Brian Jean-Mary to this point.
“I would say that most of the time, he just keeps it real with me,” Cole said of what stands out about Jean-Mary. “We talk about life, and it is not always about football. I like that. He is a family man, too, and cares about his players.”
“I would say I want to see more of the stuff I haven’t had a chance to see yet,” Cole said of this. “I want to see the campus more and the dorms and talk about the academics side of that. I would like to get some one-on-one time with the coaches, too.”
Cole’s high school teammate and close friend, Peyton Lewis, is currently committed to the Vols and has been actively peer recruiting him for months now.
“Well, he has always loved Tennessee,” Cole said of Lewis. “We have a great relationship. We are like best friends. We have been playing football together since we were back in rec league. He really tries to push me to go there. He gives hints about that at practice while we are competing with each other.”
This upcoming visit will be important for the Vols with Cole, as he plans to make a college decision sometime in mid-to-late August.
“I would say somewhere I can get a great education,” Cole said of what is important to him in the recruiting process. “Where great people are around, such as the players and coaches. Then the third thing is where I can be developed as a man and a player, too, so I can make it to the next level.”
