Someone is in for a huge letdown.

Best case scenario for us is that he told GA enough to get them to hold a spot for him, while still allowing him to take the same amount of time to decide as he was going to anyway by putting the announcement date in the future after his visits.

He hasn’t told Georgia he’s in but obviously they feel good and that those two 247 guys put in crystal balls. I don’t know what prompted that but it doesn’t make me feel great.

I’ve heard he does have interest in officially visiting that weekend. We’ll see if it happens.

You can't imagine he would still OV if the decision was final. Hope springs eternal!

Edit: I know the free trip argument, but it is for the Austin Peay game. It is not going to be one of our most hype recruiting weekends to warrant the free trip argument.

From everything we know his parents love TN and have respect for our staff not to mention relationship with Lewis Family. I think this is most likely kid is at least right now all UGA but parents are trying to get him to make sure he’s level headed.

The Salem, Va. product will go to USC the first weekend in September and as of now is planning to be in Knoxville the following weekend. If that schedule holds that would give Tennessee the last visit before he announces his commitment on Sept. 10.

Yes. Slim but yes if we get him back on campus in September for the final visit. It's telling me he and his family definitely love the staff and feel comfortable here. And with his lifelong best friend Lewis committed they both love this idea and so do the families. Kirby is relentless though.
