I have a feeling Kirby will give him an ultimatum. Cancel the OV and still have the spot or take the OV and lose your spot. I remember reading somewhere, Ohio State told Carnell Tate not go to the Bama game and he didn’t go. So if he doesn’t cancel I really like our chances
To me this is confusing. He and his family love UT, the coaches, the family atmosphere, his best friend is coming here, and the families want them to play together; yet all those factors give us a "slim" chance. I hope our coaches are as relentless as Kirby and on the phone every day.Yes. Slim but yes if we get him back on campus in September for the final visit. It's telling me he and his family definitely love the staff and feel comfortable here. And with his lifelong best friend Lewis committed they both love this idea and so do the families. Kirby is relentless though.
He probably already had his heart set on GA and can’t wait to brag that they wanted him. The other can also be true.To me this is confusing. He and his family love UT, the coaches, the family atmosphere, his best friend is coming here, and the families want them to play together; yet all those factors give us a "slim" chance. I hope our coaches are as relentless as Kirby and on the phone every day.
Go Vols!!
Speaking of that, Kirby should add a rat tail to his bowl cut.It baffles me that recruits and their families often times give into coaches when they pull the ultimatum crap. If it were my kid and any coach pulled that stunt, I’d tell the coach to stick it where the sun don’t shine. It just proves that the coach really doesn’t give a rat’s tail about the kid.
As AP first reported earlier this month, TN has hoped to get Cole back in September for an OV. This afternoon, he tells me he is scheduled to be in town the weekend of September 9 for the Austin Peay game. As of now, the plan is to still decide on September 10th. Now obviously that could change but just wanted to share where things are in real time right now
