'24 VA LB Chris Cole (uga commit)

Not necessarily something I've heard but I think ultimately in his career, they will find ways to use Kalib Perry. In the meantime, he should continue to make plays on special teams where he was great
Keep hearing Kalib’s name from the coaches and anytime I listen to VQ pod. He could be the Beasley of this season - maybe not the same impact, but someone who gets slept on and has a real role in the defense and makes some big plays this season.

He will at the very least be very valuable to us next year with him and Elijah being the only upperclassmen at ILB

Unless Pak Garland can come back and contribute

I think Perry will contribute in a big way next year on defense. He needed to learn to play linebacker. He was really more of a safety in high school, so he's still learning the position. He also added a lot of bulk to his frame this off season. The kid is one helluva athlete and really smart. He may have a trajectory similar to Aaron Beasley but in a much larger body. I'm not saying he'll be a starter, but can definitely see him in the two deep next fall making big plays for us and stepping up if there's an injury.

This place may go nuclear if Cole pushes back his commitment since it is the day after his ov here

I liked the way both of the Fr LBs looked last year when they got to play. They may have not known what they were supposed to do... but they attacked with bad intentions.
