'24 VA LB Chris Cole (uga commit)

Virginia linebacker, Chris Cole and Tennessee continue to have great dialogue as he will come to town for the Austin Peay game the second weekend in September. He will commit that Sunday after his visit, so Tennessee will have the chance to leave a lasting impression heading into that announcement.

I think it’s pretty clear his heart is with Tennessee, but he is just struggling with the understandable allure of Georgia at this moment in college football. But, it definitely sounds like he feels more comfortable here than in Athens. I hope that wins out.
Just show him the depth charts in Athens and he should see that he will get in the field here sooner.

his family also loves knoxville and its proximity to home, along with Peyton Lewis and his family coming down to games together as they are best friends. We have a ton of current players and commits talking to them both daily and they're becoming quite close. Cole's family loves the culture and the togetherness of family type feel around this program. Tennessee is absolutely in play and they are putting the full court press on here. I've heard UT will have someone at his game tonight, trying to verify that now. But i can tell you for a fact, he and his family love UT, knoxville and this staff.

I’m calling it…we’re getting this one boys and girls!!

Just a hunch…nothing “insider” about it
Georgia is breaking in a new QB at Neyland this year. Their rb is pretty injured as well. It’s at Neyland as well.

BTW I totally know you’re talking about Cole but isn’t it fun to know we’re going to whip some dawg ass in Knoxville as well.

These are important but not so much when this game is played. I wish the game was much earlier in the season
