Others will disagree and even rationalize that you should take the short term benefits even if it means tolerating bad stuff. But this always catches up with an organization. Culture and character matter.I am not surprised by this. It seems like the Kirby Cup is becoming a real thing. I have a feeling that you either get in line and shut your mouth at UGA or you commit and or transfer to another school. It is becoming even more obvious on the sidelines watching the UGA support staff, coaches, and players interact the way they do. It has gotten worse every year. I distinctly recall a few years ago, a 5 star receiver from UGA taking his gatorade bottle and squeezing it directly in the opposing players face. Small things like this are non verbal communication and cues that somehow allow a kid to think it is ok to behave this way. To be honest, I think UGA is a ticking time bomb. Here is a situation I would like to propose. What if the horrific Jaylen Carter incident happens before the Tennessee game last year? Does Kirby still win a title? or does OSU even have to think about that missed field goal for eternity?(BTW this was the only time I have ever in my life pulled for those losers from Columbus). Kirby and UGA are one horrific incident happening during the season from imploding and becoming viewed as a toxic program and culture to be around regardless of championships or wins on the field. There are tons of kids and parents that will continue to grow, that want to steer clear of Athens. I feel like Kirby is going to get as many wins and championships as he can before his house of cards comes tumbling down. Does anyone else feel and or see the culture problem even on the sidelines during games like I do or am I in the minority?
