'24 VA LB Chris Cole (uga commit)

Haven’t had any flips from UT to USC. You must be confused.
He’s referencing fountain who it was known that we had developed a large lead for, and now possibly Cole as it has been speculated that we were the only real threat to uga signing him.

This is why we don't want you starting game threads. Nothing but bad comes from it.

everyone needs to chill out a touch - he still could make it in and all would be fine.
Peyton Lewis needs to apply that peer pressure. It's just a visit to see what we have to offer.

And when he falls in love and commits, so much the better.

Appears his OV will be shortened since he is committing in Roanoke at 4:30 PM and it is at least a three hour drive to Roanoke from Knoxville ...that is if there are no traffic problems......either that or he isn't going to make it in for the OV.

IF he makes it in, he'll be here for the game, and witnessing a gameday atmosphere is probably the most important part of the visit. He's been here before. He's seen the campus, talked to the coaches, knows everything else we have to offer. But he hasn't experienced gameday. So hopefully the fans show out and he gets to experience the magic of gameday on Rocky Top.

Lincoln Riley and USC are known for creating elite defenses and putting LBs in the league so this makes complete sense honestly.
Riley is know for elite defenses? Here are his defenses ranked

2017- 68
2018- 101
2019- 64
2020- 28 (Flu year)
2021- 60
2022- 94

This isn’t anywhere in the stratosphere of elite. Let’s address your other claim about Riley and USC putting guys in the league.

2018- Riley had zero LBs drafted, USC had 1

2019- Riley had zero LBs drafted, USC had 1

2020- Riley had 1, USC had zero

2021- Riley had zero, USC had zero

2022- Riley had 1

I mean there isn’t some huge record of Riley and USC just putting LBs in the league at a high rate.

Pili is here to help guide them, but he was also brought in here to make our LB room good enough to win championships.
I know he wasn’t recruited as a cheerleader, but his medical history is well known. It was a strong possibility he wouldn’t give us a full season. So it was a consideration that his leadership and football smarts would merit the risk…and it wasn’t a doomsday scenario. If his body didn’t break down, he would’ve most likely started and produced, but he was never a FINAL PIECE to deliver a championship imo.
