Look at your list though..... Taylor, Bituli, and DkJr are gone after this year.

Ignont hasn’t shown anything.
Allen has measurables but he looked lost in space when he rarely played last year.

De’Andre Johnson flashes as a pass rusher but teams had success running right at him.

And while I still have a lot of hope for JJP, if I’m being honest it’s a little discerning that he showed up so out of shape and still had a gut late in the year.

We have a lot of holes at LB.

Fair assesment. But Ignot has shown he is dependable. Not spectacular but he's a starter candidate.
We don't know about
Peterson or Banks as of yet.
Crouch has to get healthier. But monster!

Allen may leave
Johnson is dependable.
Harrison is going to be a monster.

Just keep in mind though, when we lose 3 seniors we can use that recruit even better freshman!
There's talent at LB but some unknowns like I listed.

Still not a decent offer list :)

Josh Allen was a 2* and i believe UK was his only offer. Now the talking heads are saying he may be the first pick in the next draft.

Not the norm, to be sure, but Mark Stoops, a defensive guy, trusted his evaluation over the recruiting services.

I trust Pruitt also to believe in his own evaluations. If he likes this guy, I trust him.

I really can't understand these dumbass rankings. Dude is NOT a 2 star. He's probably faster already than most of our lb's on the roster. I understand that here in NOVA, Westfield aint a powerhouse, but there are plenty of talented teams in this region. Seems to be a solid find, IMO. Certainly has the speed, size and attitude.
Sometimes a 2 star rating means they actually haven't been evaluated in person yet.

If we don't get To'oto'o, I believe Russell will be the primary back up plan. For some reason, I just have a feeling that To'oto'o will sign with AL. Hope I'm wrong!

I think most of us feel the same way and just hoping for a surprise. I know I am.

Interesting that he ran track. Said he competed in the 100. Wonder what his time was at that size. Also says he was a rb and didn't play defense till senior year. Could explain the lower ranking and why most of his better offers came after his senior season.

I'm not an expert, but he looks really quick. If he could put on 25-30 lbs and maintain that quickness, seems like he'd be pretty lethal.

I don’t think a linebacker should look that happy in a picture.

However his tape is nice! And he already in HS knows what foot to lead with attacking blocks and ballcarriers. Very fast and athletic

Slightly better than half the lb’s on Tennessee’s roster right now. On knowing how to lead into a block/tackle

But they call him The Assassin. I've been around a few smiling assassin, happy warrior type people in my lifetime and the toothy smile belies their inner aggressive nature. There is certainly nothing happy about the way this kid treats ball carriers. Oh, and he's a 100 meter sprinter on his track team, too. Whoever picks up this kid will get a nice LB. I wish we had gotten in the mix sooner.
