If you haven’t read the Russell thread, then let me go over some stuff about him.Is Russell any count?
the 4.7 was a guess.I don't know where the 4.7 came from? I watched some highlights full screen and thought he looked like a mid-4.5 guy...
Then I saw the left side of his Hudl
- Jersey #: 8
- Positions: RB, OLB
- Height & Weight: 6'1" 212lbs
- 40 Yard Dash: 4.54
- Bench: 345
- Class of: 2019
..... So there's that
Good highlight tape... I'd say he's a little slow to react when not blitzing but I'd have to watch a few games to lay that out as a fault... looks solid to me for a 3-4 ILB prospect
Well...
This kid Asante is 6'1 212.
Our OLBs go :
6'4" 250 (D Taylor)
6'3" 245 (D Johnson)
6'5" 245 (J Allen)
6'3" 255 (Bennett)
12 second 100 meter translates to a 10.97 second 100 yard dash, or 1.097 seconds per yard. 1.097 x 40 roughly translates to a 4.39 second 40 yard dash. I'll take sub 4.4 speed anytime.
According to Hudl he is right there with Berry.no... the first 40 is not as fast as the next 40 in any sprint...and then there's proper running form to achieve maximum acceleration.
So this kid is faster than Evan Berry?? Evan Berry ran 4.51 in the 40...yet ran 10.5 100 meter in high school.
The 3 star WR out of Georgia (Means) was clocked at 4.41 at UTs camp.
-he ran 11.58 in high school.
I say 4.7 because he actually showed good running form which means he can maintain his 4.6 (full speed) over a longer distance (100 meter)
Which would put him right at about 12 seconds or more..
