No reason the Virginia Cavaliers can't compete for the ACC with all that talent in the DMV, Tidewater Area, Carolina's, Tennessee and even Ohio to draw talent from.

Honestly…they are losers in football and always have been. If any Virginia school were to tap into that talent, it’d be Virginia Tech.

Penn State, Ohio State, Va Tech, Pitt, and WVU are all in their back yard. Plus they have to deal with Maryland, UNC, and NC State. It’s not as easy as it sounds

Same thing could be said for Tennessee and our recruiting grounds. It's about getting the right coach into there and knowing what he's doing.

If Heupel went to UVA 2 years ago, Armstrong would have been an NFL draft pick and not a transfr portal guy. UVA would be seen as an up and coming threat in the ACC.

They're no powerhouse, historiclly but they have won 5 conference titles (most recent 1995). And have a historical winning percentage of .521. So they are average.

I've been to Charlottesville and I think it's a perfect college town. It's similar to Clemson but more beautiful. Would love to see them get good and then start a border rivalry.

I realize he said the fans were convinced. No one contradicted it so was wanting to know if they are correct. Thought we were a favorite.

Academic school, facilities meh, Bronco recruited same as at BYU (national), etc. Multiple reasons why they haven't been able to take advantage of that talent

It is between UT and SC. Many thought at first it was SC because a long standing relationship between him and Shane. However UT has put the press on and going all in. There are a few people here in Southwest Virginia that believe UT will eventually get him. And some hate it.
